How to publish a Claude website

Claude often shows the finished page in a panel beside the chat. That preview is not on the internet. To publish it, download the HTML file and upload it here.

Get the file out of Claude

  1. Open the chat that built the page. The panel on the side is a preview for you. Leave it open so you can check the download against it.
  2. Ask Claude for the file. Say: "Download this website as a single HTML file. If there are several files, give me a zip."
  3. Save the download. If Claude only shows the code, you can copy it into a file named index.html. On a phone, asking for the attached file is easier than copying a long page of code.
  4. Upload the file on Pristan. We check the cookie question, the legal pages and the title, then you put the website online.

A Claude share link is the chat

Sharing the conversation lets someone see how the page was written. It does not give your business a web address, a cookie question, or legal pages. Those are added when you put the file online here.

Questions people ask

How do I download a Claude artifact as HTML?

Ask Claude to download the website as a single HTML file. The preview panel is not the file. Save the attachment, then upload it here.

Can my customers use the Claude preview?

No. The preview is in your chat. Customers need a web address of your own.

The copied code looks cut off. What should I do?

Do not upload a half page. Ask Claude to attach the full HTML file, then check that the file ends the way a page should, with the closing of the page.
