How to upload an AI-generated webpage

The webpage is ready to upload when you have the real file. It ends in .html or .htm, or it is a .zip of those files. Drop that file here. We check it and put it online. The same steps work for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Copilot and any other assistant.

Upload the file in this order

  1. Ask for a file, not a picture. Say: "Please give me this website as one HTML file I can download. If there are several files, give me a zip."
  2. Save it where you can find it again. On a computer, look in Downloads. On a phone, save it to Files. The name usually ends in .html or .zip.
  3. Drop it on the check. Open Pristan and drop the file, or tap Choose a file. You can also paste a link if the page is already online somewhere.
  4. Read what is missing. We list it in ordinary words. Typical gaps are the cookie question, the legal pages, and a title for search.
  5. Put this version online. When you are ready, we apply the fixes and give the page a web address with a secure connection.

What counts as the website file

Use an .html file, an .htm file, or a .zip that contains them. If the zip has several pages, we look for one named index.html.

Do not upload a PDF, a screenshot, a Word document, or a copy of the chat. Those are not the page your assistant built. The limit is 25 MB. If the file is larger, it is usually photos or a video mixed in with the page.

Things that feel like uploading, and are not

Opening the file on your own computer does not publish it. Sending the chat to a friend does not publish it. A share link from the assistant opens the conversation, often behind a sign-in. It is not a web address for your business.

On a phone

You do not need a computer. Save the file from the assistant into Files or Downloads. Open Pristan in the phone's browser, tap Choose a file, and pick that file. Then read the check.

Check my website — free

No account needed for the check. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and any other tool.

Questions people ask

What file do I upload?

The website file that ends in .html or .htm, or a .zip of the folder. Not a picture of the page, and not a PDF.

The assistant only shows me the finished page. Where is the file?

Ask again for a download. The preview is for you. Visitors need the file, uploaded here, on a web address of its own.

Can I upload a zip?

Yes. Zip the folder if the assistant gave you more than one file. We read the HTML page inside, and we prefer index.html.

My file is bigger than 25 MB. What now?

Check that you did not zip a folder of photos or videos. Ask the assistant for the page without those large files, or for pictures that are already a sensible size.

Can I paste a link instead of a file?

Yes, if the page is already online. Paste the link on the check. If you only have the file on your computer, upload the file. There is no public link yet.

I used Gemini or Copilot, not ChatGPT. Does this still work?

Yes. Any assistant is fine. We need the HTML file or the zip, not an account with that assistant.
